Making The Most Of Your Day
In order to get the most out of my day I get up one to two hours earlier. This works particularly well for me as I have a full-time job and part-time business. My time is used effectively for affirmations, reflection, and household chores and set tasks, rather that leaving them until the end of my working day. This strategy will also work particularly well for those in full-time employment as well as mothers with young children. You should take time for yourself. Don’t cheat yourself as you too need to give yourself the attention that you deserve. An early morning walk, run or workout will certainly set you up for the day ahead. More importantly it reduces stress levels and help to maintain good health. You will find that as the demand increases on your time you need to stay focused on the task in hand and in order to meet deadlines. Functioning within tight time constraints means that good organizational skills are required if you want to get ahead. I use every minute of the day to get as much work done as is possible. Johnny Wimbrey asserts that you must push harder and dig deeper. Whilst you must ensure to have a healthy balance of work and leisure you also need to ensure that you get enough sleep. Treat yourself to a lie-in on the weekend if you don’t work during that time. Try not to feel guilty about the amount of time you spend improving yourself, as Jim Rohn states that you must work harder on yourself than you do on your job. When you work harder on yourself you will become more efficient in your job thus allowing more time for you to concentrate on your business.
